Jesse suspects that his father has something to do with it. Since his mother's death, he has become a silent, bitter man who spends his evenings in the dunes with a crowbar. Together with his classmate Imro, Jesse stumbles upon sketches, codes and a hidden hatch. What he discovers puts everything on edge: is Sarah still alive — or is the truth unbearable?
