The Silver Forest is an exciting story about a girl who is determined to prevent a beautiful, magical animal world from disappearing. The main character is 10-year-old Litin. Since her parents died in a car accident five years ago, she has been living with her grandfather Dits, who is an artist.

Book 1: Litin and the Silver Forest

Litin discovers that the old legend from her village of Ruse is true: deep in the forest lives a magical people of talking animals, led by Wom the owl. From her grandfather, she learns that these animals are in danger of dying because the municipality wants to cut down the village forest. Together with Gies and Loe, she devises a plan to stop the logging. Meanwhile, bully Sumbe is getting dangerously close to her secret. Can Litin stop the council and keep Sumbe at bay?

Book 2: Litin and the Dark Threat

The Silver Forest is in danger again. Moezan, the giant clawed raven, has kidnapped some crows, including the little brother of Flets, her friend from the magical forest. Litin and Loe travel through the troll forest, straight through the mosquito jungle, to the dark forest to rescue them. Meanwhile, Moezan discovers their plans and hunts them down with two dangerous henchmen. Can Litin stop his plan and save the crows? Will she manage to reunite Flets with his family?

Book 3: Litin and Kalista's Laboratory

Just when Litin thinks the danger has passed, Kalista the troll threatens to destroy the Silver Forest after all. Armed with her grandfather's mysterious painting, Litin travels to the Troll Forest. However, it is guarded by dangerous monster birds. Can she stop Kalista and her old enemy Sumbe before the poison destroys everything?
